Rehab. Reimagined.

Is addiction tearing your life apart? Instead of choosing rehab, get clean and sober with an uplifting recovery trek. Immersed in nature, our holistic programs offer healing for the mind, body and soul.

We specialize in working with individuals that have not found lasting recovery through traditional channels. If this sounds familiar, then don’t despair - We can help.

Our recovery treks are an affordable alternative for people who want to begin their sober journey outside of rehabs and hospitals. They take place along stunning hiking trails in Europe and the U.S. and are led by people who have been where you are: beaten down by addiction. Our programs are different from anything else - They are not adventure camps, but personal pilgrimages for those in search of lasting recovery. Find out more below or contact us today.

28-day pilgrimages that begin the first week of every month

14-day pilgrimages that begin the middle of every month

Heal your mind, body and spirit with an immersive experience along a 1,000-year-old pilgrimage route: the Camino de Santiago in northern Spain. Each day, you will eat, sleep and breathe recovery, repairing the fractures that allow addiction to persist. This pilgrimage has a start point, just like recovery. From the first day onwards, you will walk in one direction, physically and spiritually, advancing towards your goal. Your steps are a form of prayer that you repeat from early morning through the end of each day. You will be walking in the footsteps of millions of others, who have also sought healing and redemption from the darkness.

During your trek, you will spend each day being gently led by a recovery guide, that has managed to overcome addiction themselves. You will also be with a small group of other people who are beginning their recovery journey, just like you.

Pilgrims Have Sought Healing for Centuries. This Will Transform You.

We offer Camino programs all year round. Our Camino REHAB.REIMAGINED, programs last for 14-28 days, depending on your personal recovery needs. At the end of the trek, you will receive a “Compostela”, a beautiful Latin scroll certifying that you have completed your pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago. You will also receive a personalized “bridge the gap” recovery checklist and your pilgrim’s passport, stamped with all the places you have been along the way.

With a focus on integrated recovery of mind, body and soul, our recovery protocol incorporates:

  • Individual recovery coaching
  • 4-8 hours of moderate physical exercise daily
  • Guided meditation each morning
  • Journaling: we help you write about your struggles and your progress
  • Small group 12-step meetings and step studies
  • Wholesome Spanish meals eaten with your group

Our recovery pilgrimages are deeply intensive, unlike anything else available to recovering alcoholics and addicts. Groups are limited in size to ensure that you receive individual attention and guidance.

Over the course of the trek, you will not only recover personally but as a group. This is a reminder that we need each other in order to recover for life.

Your recovery guide will provide you with individual guidance, while your group will give you encouragement and support along the way to help you accomplish things you didn’t know you were capable of.

You will be taken through a specific set of writing exercises and group activities to help identify relapse triggers, attitudes that avoid or deflect personal responsibility and other causes of self-destructive behavior. We focus heavily on individual accountability for recovery – obliterating the “victim” mentality that places blame on others and prevents long-term recovery.

about the Camino de Santiago

“The Camino” as it is known throughout the world, is also called The Way of St. James. Legend has it that the body of the apostle James is buried here, at Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain. For more than 1,000 years, religious and non-religious alike have undertaken this pilgrimage for every reason imaginable.

The Camino became even more popular after a 2010 film called, “The Way”, by Emilio Estevez and featuring Martin Sheen debuted to huge acclaim.

The most well-known route to Santiago de Compostela takes place along the Camino Frances from St. Jean Pied de Port through the well-known Spanish cities of Pamplona, Burgos, León and Astorga before reaching the magnificent Cathedral of Santiago, where the body of James rests.

There are an estimated 400,000+ people who undertake the Camino annually according to the Spanish government.
